Facades, 2023, focuses on online and digital identity. The works are abstract portraits of masks. Inspired by Venetian masks, the series is a comment on the altering of our true identities on social media and other web services. Alongside the hiding of individual's identity, there are also cyber-criminals and intelligent bots / AI masquerading online as real people.

The imagery used as a starting point for these works are from both personal and AI sources, pushing the concept of Facades to a level where we ask was this made by, and does it depict human or machine?
